This week...

Faith's new trick has been putting things over her head and crawling around. She doesn't cry when she runs into things, she thinks its funny. I can only imagine what is in store with this little one!

Ben, a.k.a. Batman, had fun pushing Nana around in her wheelchair this week. My mom was pushing her after we left and Nana asked, "Where is my boy to push me?" She loves my kids. Not only did he push her, he helped fix her breakfast and took her things to drink. I hope he always has a servant's heart.

Okay...I know this is probably past the weight limit, but they were having so much fun! When Ben is not riding with Faith, he is spinning her in circles. She laughs so hard and has so much fun! They won't get along this well forever, but I will enjoy while it lasts!

Corny

It's official...she likes corn on the cob. It's lip smacking good!

Faith is teething so she gnawed the corn off the cob! Introducing food is so much fun!

I love this place

I took this picture one morning as the sun came up over Lake Sinclair. My grandparents bought the house there when I was in 4th grade. It started out as a runstic home and then Nana rebuilt in 1998. It's a great house. Room enough for everyone. It has a great back deck that overlooks the lake. For some reason this picture makes me think of all the memories I have of this place. That's the beauty of pictures, right?

They are so different

I don't understand how they can be so different. Ben is not very desrtuctive. He is tough and plays hard, but was never a climber. Faith is a different story. She amazes me. I was rinsing something off in the sink and went to place it in the open, empty dishwasher and there she was. Seriously...how did she get up there so fast, without me knowing?

Benism

Ben has these crazy things he says that make me laugh. He was introduced to Star Wars through my 9-year-old nephew, Logan. When I asked Ben this weekend what he was playing with, he responded, "starship poopers." I guess he still has a lot to learn about all the characters!

She has no idea

Faith has no clue that Nana has cancer. All she knows is her Nana has a fun bed with lots of kleenex and makes funny faces. We have spent the last five days at the lake making good memories while Nana feels good. Faith won't stay out of her room.

She loves the wheelchair.

She knows how it works and everything. When we left today Nana said, "What am I going to do without my baby?" Needless to say we won't be home for long!

He's 3 today

Today he is three...almost to the minute. It is amazing to me how fast the time passes. Ben has the most amazing imagination. In fact, just before this picture was taken he was jumping up and down in our dining room saying "It's snowing in here, Mama!" He was very excited. Little did he know it was 60 degrees outside. Happy Birthday, Ben!
